"Subject: Would You Be a Candidate? During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what the criterion was to define whether or not a patient should be institutionalized. "Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teacup, a teaspoon, and a bucket to the patient and ask them to empty the bathtub." "Oh, I understand," said the visitor, "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup." "No." replied the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a room with or without a view?"
A man and his wife are sitting in the living room and he says to her: "Just so you know, I never want to live in a vegetative state dependent on some machine. If that ever happens, just pull the plug." His wife got up and unplugged the TV.

Dear Folks - Here's a good up-to-date summary at the attempts to save the interior of the famed Pasadena Raymond Theatre! This group has been working relentlessly to affect the outcome despite strong efforts to the contrary. Let's give them a vote of confidence! I've messaged the group several times and donated to their cause. Incidentally, the Wurlitzer that used to grace this theatre is now stored at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. Maybe it will find its way home eventually.
Best regards, Bob Inman

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP meeting on November 20, 2005--Fricke’s Home. Eric Fricke played the program for our meeting. He introduced his new Allen organ. He played a very pleasing program. Included in the list of songs were “that’s Entertainment, Five Feet Two, Wedding Day at Trouldhagen, My Fair Lady medley, The Perfect Song, I’m Confessin’ That I Love You, and Anything Goes.” He appeared in a bright red and white checkered sports jacket which he remarked was given to him by a very nice member and that it looked like it belonged on a picnic table. He promised to wear it for his concert. Eric showed that he has spent many hours becoming acquainted with the new Allen R-311 organ. He played many entertaining numbers and was comfortable with a variety of registrations. We are very glad that Eric and his parents are VOTS members. Shirley Long.
